Dove shooting in Argentina
Welcome to Argentina the best wing shooting destination in the world. Located in the most agricultural areas of Santiago del Estero, we are proud to introduce you “L & S hunting Co.”, a new organization dedicated to the activity of feather hunting.
For its perfect climate patterns and fertile soils, the province allows vast extensions of grain production the entire year. This has generated an overpopulation of “eared doves” and the perfect habitat for the species to reproduce.
Every single day, huge concentrations of dove gather and fly over our crops in search of food, enabling us to successfully organize a hunting range. We are talking high-volume dove hunt!
In just one day, a hunter can shoot 1500 to 2000 rounds and sometimes more, depending on the hunter and how much more he desires to shoot. Dove shooting in Santiago del Estero has no restriction, when it comes to killing certain amount of birds. There are three current operating outfitters in Santiago del Estero, but unlike most outfitters in Córdoba province, the land under our possession are virgin terrains, therefore, the ground you will be walking on will be the first time for most of you. You have seen a flock of birds but in Santiago del Estero you will see massive clouds of doves, yes, the amount is immaculate, and this view is permanent.
One convenient point to consider is that the province has its own airport, which is an hour away from the lodge. Another positive aspect to consider is that our hunting grounds are just minutes away from the lodge.
Partridges are particularly localized in flat areas surrounded by pastures, alfalfas and harvested fields where the bird builds its nest and keeps hidden from predators. They are tracked and retrieved with the help of trained-labs or pointers.
Pigeons are commonly found in nearby streams where they go looking for water or in grain fields where they feed.
This hunt takes place over harvested fields where the birds come to feed. You can see them fly in flock of thousands permanently back and forth all day. Bidders can normally shoot an average of 2000 rounds or even more. There's no daily limit on doves.
